Kayak Camping & Exploring Abandoned Places- Ketner’s Mill

This one was desolate and creepy.  What more could I ask for?  Not much, considering, I took a chance and threw this trip together on the fly.  Hustling to make time after work, I drove to one of my favorite local places- Little Sequatchie River.

Yes, this is another one of my Friday evening weekend warrior showdowns.  My original plans were a pile of boring.  I thought about a repeat trip to the TN River Blueway, but wizened up.  I aimed for the uncharted territory located in Jasper, TN, launching at an old abandoned place called Ketner’s Mill.  It’s a historic feature in a small town 20 minutes outside of Chattanooga, TN.

Hope you enjoy the video.  Be sure to subscribe to my youtube channel for more to come.

Kayak Camping TN River Blueway

You’re viewing my first blog post in about five years.  Yes, I used to be an avid blogger.  I quit after my career consumed my life, and I began working six to seven days a week.  I was miserable.  I’ve been a fan of many bloggers and youtubers over the past few years.  This has inspired me to begin documenting my own adventures now that I finally have the time.

I’m back on a normal five days a week schedule and I’m loving it.  I’ve been able to share some of my content and log my trips.  I’m not here for any kind of gain or publicity.  I love bloggers and vloggers who are simply honest individuals with real problems and work schedules like myself.  I love this community and look forward to getting to know you.  Thanks for your time and support.
